Network Consultant Job Summary
We are searching for an experienced Network Consultant to help our clients develop their IT systems. In this position, you will go to the client's facility, assess their current IT system, and determine what upgrades or overhauls are necessary. This may include upgraded hardware or software that can improve their security, such as firewalls or VPNs. For smaller companies, you may focus on LAN systems, but larger projects may require you to use WAN systems and cloud computing software, such as VMware. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in computer science and CCNA certification.
Network Consultant Duties and Responsibilities

- Propose hardware and software upgrades
- Install new hardware and software
- Train employees on the use of any new tools
- Offer technical support after the project
Network Consultant Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT
- CCNA certification (preferred)
- Experience with cloud computing and wireless systems
- Strong communication skills
