Mortgage Banker Job Summary

Our financial company is seeking candidates to fill junior-level Mortgage Banker positions. In this role, you will work with borrowers directly, assisting them throughout the loan process. Although you may ask some introductory questions to pre-qualify potential borrowers, part of this process is to thoroughly analyze a client's income and assets in order to determine how much financing we can offer them. We are willing to provide paid training to promising candidates, but you must fulfill the NMLS licensure requirements in this state before you can independently handle mortgage loan processing. We are an FHA-approved lender.

Mortgage Banker Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advise clients while taking into account their needs and financial goals
  • Sell home finance or refinance products
  • Analyze the income, assets, and credit rating of potential clients to determine loan financing
  • Assist clients throughout the loan process
  • Originate and follow up on sales leads
