Laser Technician Job Summary

Our spa is looking for an experienced Laser Technician to offer our guests a variety of cosmetology procedures, such as laser hair removal and photorejuvenation. You must have a certificate from an accredited vocational program, and our ideal candidate also has certification from the National Council on Laser Certification. Any experience you have as an aesthetician is a plus. While technical qualifications are the most important, we also want a candidate with strong communication and customer service skills. You must make our clients comfortable and happy during their procedures. Therefore, experience in similar roles, such as a massage therapist or nail technician position, is also a plus.

Laser Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet clients as they come in for their procedure
  • Perform hair removal, photorejuvenation, and similar procedures as requested
  • Inform clients on how to recover from each procedure and how to care for their skin
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Document all of your appointments

Laser Technician Requirements and Qualifications

  • Certificate from a vocational school
  • Certification from NCLC (preferred)
  • Customer service and patient care skills
  • Laser and cosmetology experience
