IT Auditor Job Summary

Our company is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced IT professional to join our team as an IT Auditor. We are looking for auditors who have a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology and several years of experience in the field. You will use your expertise to conduct an IT audit on our computer systems, identify issues or inefficiencies, and help us develop solutions. These may be compliance issues, hardware malfunctions, or security weaknesses. You must have strong communication skills, as you will be responsible for fielding complaints from our non-technical employees. You will also work with our IT staff to improve all of our tech-based business operations. Our ideal candidate is either a Certified Information Systems Auditor or a Certified Internal Auditor.

IT Auditor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct a full audit of our systems
  • Identify issues and present solutions to fix them
  • Work with non-technical employees to see what problems they are having
  • Deliver reports to management on the changes that need to be made
  • Work with IT staff to install needed hardware and software

IT Auditor Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Expertise in computers and cybersecurity
  • CISA or CIA certification (preferred)
