Investment Banker Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Membership, completion of license exams, and license from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Able to work accurately under stress and pressure to meet competing deadlines
