Inventory Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our manufacturing company as an Inventory Specialist. As part of our production team, you ensure that all production stages are equipped with the materials and equipment necessary to accomplish daily production processes. You ensure accurate cycle counting, liaise with vendors to ensure material availability, and forecast consumption rates based on historical data. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field, or comparable experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.

  • Liaise with vendors to ensure material needs are met
  • Establish new vendor relationships to meet emerging needs
  • Forecast inventory needs based on historical data and provide recommendations to leadership

Inventory Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with inventory management, vendor management, and logistics
  • Moderate computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
