Inventory Control Specialist Job Summary

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our shipping and receiving department. You track ingoing and outgoing inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and report any discrepancies you are unable to reconcile. You must also keep inventory counts in our ERP system up-to-date, as this allows employees in other departments to check stock levels and work more efficiently.

  • Perform cycle counts, or check different sections of inventory on a rotating basis
  • Reconcile discrepancies
  • Use our ERP system to communicate inventory information with other business units
  • Ensure proper labeling and shipping
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards

Inventory Control Specialist Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Warehouse or logistics experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Organization skills
