Illustrator Job Summary

We are currently seeking an Illustrator to create images for our print and digital projects. This is a collaborative as well as creative role, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable submitting drafts for revision and who can work with other members of the creative team to ensure their work fulfills the unique needs and style of the project. Applicants should be able to work with various artistic styles or formats, although we will consider professionals who are exceptionally strong in a style that is compatible with our creative needs. You must submit a portfolio of your work to be considered for this position.

Illustrator Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create images for print and digital formats
  • Submit drafts for revision and approval
  • Submit completed files on deadline, following all job specifications
  • Collaborate with other members of our marketing and design teams
  • Use a consistent style or technique for the duration of each project
  • Adhere to company standards and guidelines

Illustrator Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in illustration, graphic design, or another fine arts discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Professional illustration experience in similar formats (3+ years preferred)
  • Digital sketching or graphic design skills
  • Demonstrated skills in one or more artistic/creative styles
  • An aesthetic eye, primarily for composition and color
  • Collaborative skills and creativity
