Family Medicine Physician Job Summary
Our primary care clinic is looking for a Family Medicine Physician to join our team. You will conduct exams, order tests, and prescribe medicines or implement treatments. We attempt to focus on a higher quality of care rather than a higher quantity of patients, which allows us to see patients on a regular basis and provide comprehensive care. Applicants must have a license to practice medicine and board certification (or eligibility) in internal medicine, family medicine, or obstetrics and gynecology. You should also have a valid DEA registration number. Experience in family practice is beneficial.
Family Medicine Physician Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services
- Conduct patient exams
- Order/interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
- Prescribe medicine or implement treatments
- Update patient charts and EMRs
Family Medicine Physician Requirements and Qualifications
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- License to practice medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine, family medicine, or obstetrics
- DEA registration
- BLS certification
- Bilingual communication skills (preferred)
