Event Planner Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event Planner to manage and produce events from planning to completion. - Organize details and get client approval
- Negotiate contracts with the venue and other vendors
- Oversee completion of all event details, including decor, catering, entertaining, and transportation
- Coordinate with the marketing department to promote the event
- Manage staff the night of the event to ensure smooth operations
Event Planner Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of event planning experience
- Substantial portfolio of previously managed events
- Outstanding time management and communication skills
- Knowledgable in marketing techniques and social media platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
