Energy Consultant Job Summary
We are looking for an Energy Consultant to help our clients improve the energy efficiency of their buildings. We primarily focus on solar and renewable energy, but you will also help customers with other solutions, such as emissions control or insulation measures. While making establishing new sales is important, we also want you to help manage our current client base and build lasting relationships. You should be familiar with customer relationship management (CRM) software and have strong communication skills. Our ideal applicant has an associate degree in a relevant field and several years of clean energy or solar sales experience.
Energy Consultant Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect client facilities for efficiency issues
- Recommend efficiency solutions and new products, such as solar panels
- Help coordinate the installation of new products
- Follow up with clients to make sure there are no issues with the ordered products
Energy Consultant Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate degree in an energy-related field (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- CRM experience
- Clean energy sales or consulting experience (preferred)
