Energy Advisor Job Summary
We are seeking an Energy Advisor to help our clients cut electricity costs and create greener buildings. In this position, you will audit each client's building, identify efficiency issues, and suggest solutions. When possible, you should promote our products to the client, but you may also point out policy or structural issues that are wasting energy. Our ideal applicant has experience working with energy or green solutions, strong sales skills, and excellent analytical problem-solving abilities. While you will not perform any of the installation work yourself, experience with power tools and a craft like carpentry can help you better inspect buildings.
Energy Advisor Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to client buildings and worksites
- Inspect the facilities and audit their energy consumption
- Identify areas with low energy efficiency
- Recommend greener products or other improvements
- Sell our products whenever possible
Energy Advisor Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Experience with energy or green solutions
- Some construction experience (preferred)
- Strong sales and communication skills
- Analytical problem-solving abilities
