Delivery Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, energetic individual to join our company as a Delivery Specialist. As part of our delivery team, you drive goods in a box truck to customer locations, unload items as necessary, and record delivery information via our electronic inventory control system. This position requires you to have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), a clean driving record, and good working knowledge of the greater metro area. Our ideal candidate has prior warehousing or delivery experience and attention to detail, along with being a safe and defensive driver. This is a physically demanding role, and you must be able to lift and move heavy objects and packages throughout a standard shift.

Delivery Specialist Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive goods and cargo from various warehouse facilities, recording essential data in our electronic system
  • Transport goods to customer locations or delivery centers
  • Unload goods, taking care to minimize damage, wear, or breakage
  • Attend to routine minor maintenance of your vehicle and flag larger issues for repair

Delivery Specialist Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
  • Forklift experience and certification strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with computers and handheld devices
  • Attention to detail and safe driving skills
