We are seeking a skilled, experienced credit analyst to join our growing organization. In this position, you will analyze financial data to evaluate the likelihood with which a borrowerwill honor theirfinancial obligations. Credit Analyst Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine the creditworthiness of both existing and prospective customers
  • Examine financial transactions and credit history on a case-by-case basis (applications, balance sheets, bank statements, legal documents, etc.)
  • Carry out ratio, trend, and cash flow analysis
  • Generate sound projections that can be justified with data
  • Judiciously analyze data and create clear, objective reports—assessing risks and benefits involved
  • Comply with all credit policies and guidelines; regularly monitor loans for compliance
  • Continually observe corporate portfolio asset quality
  • Draft models that predict trends and patterns in the credit market

Credit Analyst Requirements and Qualifications

  • BS degree in business, statistics, or related field
  • Significant work history as a credit analyst strongly preferred
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and a strong working knowledge of statistical packages and financial software
  • Commitment to remaining current on all legal, compliance, and market risk matters
  • Proven experience analyzing cash flow, leverage, collateral, and customer creditworthiness
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
