Compliance Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to ensure our current and future processes meet all governmental regulations. You will review and evaluate existing company compliance programs for effectiveness, identify gaps or areas that need improvement, and recommend changes to reduce or eliminate compliance issues. Once management has approved your plan, you will oversee the implementation of the modifications to ensure all employees understand the new policies. Our ideal candidate has at least three years of compliance experience in the industry.

Compliance Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess current projects for compliance risks
  • Evaluate all business activities relating to compliance, including policies, investments, partnerships, etc.
  • Audit processes and procedures
  • Create and implement company policies and procedures
  • Develop plans for crisis events or compliance violations
  • Participate in new hire and employee onboarding and training on legal and compliance
  • Present audits, data, and procedures to other teams; advise on compliance issues across the company

Compliance Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a compliance officer, compliance manager, or related position
  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) documentation a plus
  • Proven success in the risk management field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
