Compliance Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, self-starting individual to join our team as a Compliance Coordinator. As part of our compliance team, you work with various departmental and team leaders to ensure all aspects of our operations fall within both applicable regulatory standards and industry best practices. You audit our overall compliance policy and processes, train all levels of employees and management in compliance procedures, and deliver regular compliance reports to key leadership. Our ideal candidate has at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and compliance certification from a recognized accreditation group.

Compliance Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

  • Form a high-level view of the organization's compliance procedures and responsibilities, serving as a subject matter expert on all compliance-related matters
  • Educate staff regarding compliance procedures and obligations
  • Deliver reports regarding progress, challenges, and changes to our compliance procedures or regulatory legal frameworks
  • Revise and distribute compliance materials to internal team leaders and decision-makers

Compliance Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or industry required; Master's degree preferred
  • Certification from the International Compliance Association or another recognized compliance group
  • Human resources experience and experience leading internal advisory teams (a plus)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
