We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Banquet Server to join our growing staff. Your responsibilities will include distributing different kinds of food to guests at special events. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well on a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time.

Banquet Server Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up tables and banquet hall before the event
  • Assist with food preparation before and during the event
  • Serve appetizers and plated dinners to guests
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to the banquet hall in a timely manner
  • Serve and refill alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Assist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down

Banquet Server Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 18 years old
  • Previous banquet server/cater waiter experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to stand and walk for several hours at a time and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Reliable transportation
