Associate Scientist Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Scientist to help us with cell culturing and sample testing. We are a biotech company that delivers transformative outcomes for oncology patients through cell therapies. In this role, you will develop cell culture assays to evaluate our cell-therapy products, helping to determine whether they are strong enough to target certain cells either directly or indirectly, and helping us to make potentially life-changing advancements. Other tasks include conducting peer reviews and maintaining proper documentation of each study or experiment. Candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline as well as some experience in a research laboratory.

Associate Scientist Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior scientists to design experiments and determine protocols
  • Process samples
  • Maintain documentation for each study or experiment
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and calibrate instruments as needed
  • Perform peer reviews

Associate Scientist Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, microbiology, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree and/or experience in a research laboratory as an assistant or associate scientist
  • Experience with cell culture assays
  • Knowledge of GLPs (good laboratory practices)
  • Analytical and computer skills
  • Attention to detail
