Associate Producer Job Summary

Our entertainment firm is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Associate Producer to join our production team. In this role, your main function is to support the creation of high-quality content (while on a deadline). You will assist with various stages of production, including pitching ideas, editing scripts, and coordinating filming schedules. Depending on the type of content we are producing, you may be asked to book external talent, including photographers, stylists, and actors. You will also assist with desktop editing and provide input on additional video elements, including animated graphics. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and experience in video production, including both shooting and editing footage.

Associate Producer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and edit scripts
  • Pitch original content ideas
  • Assist with desktop editing
  • Work with animation and graphics department to develop additional video elements
  • Book external photographers, stylists, and talent for shoots as needed
  • Coordinate shooting/filming schedules
  • Ensure deadlines are met
  • Assist with billing and other administrative tasks as needed

Associate Producer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in film or broadcasting
  • Experience in video production, including shooting and editing
  • Experience with industry-standard equipment and tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
