Apprentice Technician Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Technician to learn plumbing skills and gain experience under one of our journeyman plumbers. In this position, you will participate in both on-the-job and classroom learning. While onsite, you will assist the plumber and slowly take on more responsibilities as you gain experience. In class, you will learn about the safety regulations and other basics related to the trade. Our ideal applicant has some experience in maintenance, but we are willing to work with the right candidate who is otherwise qualified.

Apprentice Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help the plumber install new pipes
  • Unclog drains and fix leaks
  • Provide any onsite assistance needed by the plumber
  • Attend classes on plumbing basics
  • Study to pass your journeyman exam

Apprentice Technician Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Maintenance experience (preferred)
  • Manual dexterity
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Physical strength and stamina
