Aml Analyst Job Summary
Our bank is seeking an AML Analyst to assist with our anti-money laundering investigations. In this position, you will be responsible for aiding in risk management by monitoring money as it comes in and out of our institution to look for suspicious transactions. If you find a suspicious trend or something that is not in compliance with financial regulations, you will report them to other bank employees. You must have a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) accreditation, and we prefer that you have a bachelor's degree in finance or economics. Experience dealing with personal finance, whether as a financial analyst or in a portfolio management position, is also beneficial.
Aml Analyst Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor transactions for suspicious trends
- Conduct due diligence on suspicious accounts
- Report activity to other employers
- Ensure all transactions are in compliance with financial regulations
- Oversee a database of financial transactions
