Agile Coach Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join our software development company as an Agile Coach. As part of our product development team, you will educate project managers and other team leaders about Agile methodologies, roles, advantages, and limitations. You will work with all levels of employees and take primary ownership in developing internal education strategies and methods, fostering greater understanding and comfort with Agile frameworks and development structures. You will help each individual understand the various roles and responsibilities within the Agile framework and how best to support one another, as well as equip the team for success.

Agile Coach Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and encourage an ongoing and self-perpetuating understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks
  • Teach best practices and proven methodologies, implementing frameworks for measuring success and progress
  • Ensure goals are common and transparently understood, especially in support of larger business objectives
  • Ensure clear communication between and in teams, encouraging self-organization and information sharing

Agile Coach Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years as an Agile practitioner, especially in a leadership or coaching role
  • At least 3 years of experience in a software development role or environment
  • Considerable experience facilitating and leading meetings, seminars, or teaching events
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
