Accounting Analyst Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as an Accounting Analyst. As part of our finance team, you will collaborate with departmental leadership to perform regular audits of all company finances, forming a high-level view of our current assets, expenditures, trends, and financial forecasts. You will create and deliver reports to key leadership and stakeholders, allowing for efficient, informed decision-making at all levels, as well as assist the chief financial officer in creating public reports for shareholders and regulatory agencies. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in finance (though a master's degree is preferred), as well as CPA certification and prior professional experience in a corporate accounting environment.
Accounting Analyst Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with various departmental leadership to perform regular financial audits
- Create and disseminate relevant financial reports to key leadership and decision-makers
- Write recommendation briefs regarding financial processes that can be improved for greater operational efficiency or transparency
- Collaborate with various leadership to ensure regulatory compliance on all financial matters
Accounting Analyst Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; master's degree or higher preferred
- Prior experience in a corporate accounting environment, especially in roles related to high-level analysis
- CPA certification
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Mathematical proficiency
