Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Miami, Florida is looking for a dynamic and qualified Spanish Teacher for the upcoming 26-27 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program for Spanish students. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish or subject related field.
  • Master's degree in Spanish preferred.
  • FDOE certificate in Spanish K-12, temporary or professional required.
  • Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Ability to work with a variety of students, parents, and staff as a team member.
  • Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
  • Demonstrated skills needed to use digital books and/or interactive classroom technology.
  • Ability to integrate technology into the subjects.
  • Proficiency in MS and Google apps.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
