Job description

Why Harvey
At Harvey, we're transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we're reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.
This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We're scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth - personal, professional, and financial - is unmatched.
Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission - operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you.
At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today - and we're just getting started.
Role Overview
The communications team builds and protects Harvey's reputation. In this role you will lead tech and product communications for Harvey, shaping how two audiences understand our business: the AI community that wants to know how we build, and the lawyers who want to know what we deliver. You will partner closely with executive leadership, eng, product, and go-to-market. Reports to the Global Head of Communications.
What You'll Do
  • Own Harvey's product narrative: the story of what we build, how we build it, and why it matters for legal teams and society.
  • Turn complex engineering and product work into compelling stories for both technical and legal audiences.
  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with top-tier journalists, newsletter writers, podcasters, and influencers shaping how people talk about AI.
  • Reach our target audiences where they are: generate high-impact coverage across business, tech, and legal press, as well as creative placements beyond traditional media.
  • Elevate the external profiles of Harvey's executives, product leaders, and researchers through media training, press strategy, thought leadership, and speaking.
  • Build AI tools and workflows for yourself and the team.

What You Have
  • Fluency in AI. You use AI tools to do your own work better and make everyone more efficient.
  • 8+ years in product communications at a high-growth technology company or at a PR agency supporting engineering and product clients.
  • A track record of earned media across top-tier publications, podcasts, newsletters, and new media, and deep relationships with the people behind them.
  • A creative approach to reaching audiences, and a willingness to test new channels.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and building executive visibility programs.
  • Clear, concise, human writing that makes complex technical work easy to understand.
  • Comfort moving quickly in a very fast-paced environment, and a collaborative approach to working with others.
