• Gather requirements and create appropriate functional and business artifacts, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, user flows, and meeting notes.
• Partner with the Product Manager to groom and maintain the product backlog in Jira, understanding the technical nuances behind business requirements.
• Document complex data flows, business rules, and technical prerequisites for AI integrations and external data platforms.
Bug Triage & Quality Assurance
• Act as the first line of defense for product issues and bug triaging across the CDS portfolio.
• Investigate user-reported issues, reproduce errors, and perform root-cause analysis on data anomalies before routing actionable tickets to the appropriate engineering or ML data teams.
• Create business test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT) during QA functional testing to clear blockers and ensure high-quality deployments.
Competitive Research & Stakeholder Communication
• Translate complex backend technical concepts (Machine Learning, Gen AI, Simulation models) into clear, customer-centric value propositions for stakeholders.
• Conduct ongoing competitive research on emerging AI solutions, STEM data platforms, and industry trends to ensure developing products provide differentiated value to the market.
• Provide regular, structured, technical updates to cross-departmental business stakeholders (marketing, sales, leadership) to improve transparency and decision-making.
• Work closely alongside the Product Manager to share daily responsibilities, track project task dependencies, and ensure external vendor deliverables remain on schedule.
