MARKETING MANAGER - INTEGRATED COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY
Idea Hall, an award-winning, creative communications agency based in Orange County, California, is seeking a motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our team and take ownership of our clients' digital and lead generation projects from day one.  We have been in business since 2003, and value the many longstanding relationships that are the foundation of our agency. We unite public relations, branding and marketing together to build a powerful service offering to meet our clients' many and diverse needs.
The Role of a Marketing Manager at Idea Hall:
You will be responsible for supporting and managing client communications and digital marketing programs and campaigns across multiple channels, with an emphasis on lead generation, paid media, CRM and lifecycle marketing. You will serve as the day-to-day project lead for digital and lead generation engagements, owning scopes, timelines and budgets from kickoff through launch and optimization. You will collaborate with the agency’s internal team to ensure marketing, communications and advertising efforts are aligned with client goals and objectives.
Qualifications for Marketing Manager:
  • 4+ years of experience within a Marketing role with proficiency in working with cross-functional teams, developing presentations and executing creative marketing campaigns.
  • Proven experience planning, launching and directly managing paid lead generation campaigns, with hands-on proficiency in Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  • Strong command of CRM platforms and lifecycle marketing, including audience segmentation, email automation and nurture journeys.
  • Strong research and analysis skills, ability to think critically at every step.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with internal staff, vendors and clients.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading digital and lead generation projects end to end: scoping, timelines, budgets and cross-functional coordination in a deadline-driven environment, using digital PM software tools to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding and knowledge of traditional and emerging marketing channels across paid, owned, earned.
  • Fluency in performance analytics, with the ability to forecast, identify trends and challenges, and translate campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Familiarity with funnel design and development, including landing pages, forms and conversion paths.
  • Comfort contributing to ad creative, from concepts to copy, in collaboration with our design team.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, video production, social media, AI, etc.
  • Ability to work onsite in our beautiful Costa Mesa Office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and with an additional 15% of work time to visit clients and attend events (sometimes in evenings).
The Marketing Manager Role:
  • Manage client relationships and act as point of contact for all marketing-related programs, projects and managing the work.
  • Project manage digital and lead generation campaigns from brief to delivery, coordinating internal teams, vendors and client stakeholders to keep work on time and on budget.
  • Engage in relationship-building to grow and retain our opportunities with clients.
  • Have the ability to conduct and lead research and help generate insights based on the data and assist with audience development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm great ideas, concepts and creative assets that align strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Develop, execute, and support integrated marketing campaigns across multi-platform channels that may include:
    • Building project plans and managing timelines, tasks and resources in PM software tools
    • Supporting creative team with creative production needs, including ad creative for paid campaigns
    • Leading the execution and optimization of paid lead generation campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads
    • Managing client CRM and lifecycle marketing programs, including segmentation, automation and nurture campaigns
    • Building and optimizing marketing funnels, including landing pages, forms and conversion tracking
    • Owning campaign performance reporting and translating the data into insights and optimizations for clients
    • Working with senior team leads to develop external presentations, content and other relevant materials
    • Supporting or directly managing accuracy with client expenses and budgets
    • Think and act strategically to get results for our clients
