Athletic Edge Physiotherapy is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to enhance our team in Brentwood, California. This full-time role focuses on providing exceptional outpatient care to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and conditions, with a primary emphasis on improving mobility and promoting overall health. Our clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a dynamic environment where you can impact patients' lives.

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Brentwood, California. The center is equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities and exercise equipment, designed to provide a comfortable and efficient healing environment. Our team consists of skilled professionals who work collaboratively to ensure comprehensive care, thereby promoting optimal patient outcomes.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities to enhance strength and mobility.
• Educate and instruct patients on proper body mechanics and injury prevention strategies to facilitate a successful recovery.
• Monitor patient progress through meticulous documentation, adjusting treatment plans as required to meet individual patient needs and comply with clinic protocols.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and support staff, to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
• Participate in community outreach programs and patient education initiatives to promote awareness of physical therapy services and wellness practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records that adhere to legal requirements and healthcare regulations.
• Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere for both patients and fellow staff to promote a collaborative work culture.

Our primary focus is on outpatient orthopedic patients, ranging from athletes with sports-related injuries to individuals recovering from surgeries or managing chronic pain. We cater to a diverse clientele, striving to meet the unique needs of each patient through targeted rehabilitation that emphasizes functional recovery and lasting health improvements.

• A valid California State Physical Therapist License.
• A Bachelor’s degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Solid clinical knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients of varying backgrounds.
• A strong commitment to patient care and professional growth.

While we prefer candidates with at least two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy, we encourage new graduates to apply, as we believe in the potential of fresh talent and are committed to providing mentorship for professional development.
