We specialize in high-end commercial interiors, luxury residential projects, hospitality environments, custom casework, panel systems, wall cladding, reception desks, fixture packages, and specialty fabrication.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Machinery Mechanic to join our team and support the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of woodworking equipment in our Millwork shop. This individual will work closely with our operations, production, and finishing teams to keep equipment running efficiently and to minimize downtime.


Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on woodworking machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as CNC routers, table saws, edge banders, jointers, planers, sanders, dust collection systems, and various shop tools.
  • Replace or repair damaged parts, adjust components, lubricate equipment, and conduct calibration checks.
  • Troubleshoot machine performance issues and provide solutions to improve reliability.
  • Assist with the installation, relocation, and setup of new machinery.


Qualifications

  • Experience working with woodworking or millwork machinery.
  • Previous maintenance or mechanical repair experience in a shop/industrial environment.
  • Understanding of CNC machinery, dust collection systems, and shop safety protocols.
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience (professional or personal).
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new equipment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics, or hydraulics.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work safely in a shop environment.
  • Certifications in mechanics, electrical, or related trades (preferred but not required).


Salary Information
To the extent this position is performed in Ronkonkoma, New York, the anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $30.00 to $40.00.
