  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site walkthroughs, scope review sessions, and project handoff meetings to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with GCs, designers, vendors, subcontractors, and residential/hospitality partners.
  • Track bid outcomes and contribute to winning profitable, competitive work.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or architectural millwork.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, interior design plans, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Deep knowledge of millwork materials (veneers, plywood, hardwoods, laminates, hardware systems, finishes), joinery methods, and fabrication workflows.
  • Experience estimating union and non-union labor.
  • Experience bidding commercial interiors, luxury homes, hospitality venues, retail, healthcare, and public projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
