Job Summary
This student position will work on a specific experiential learning project in programs within the Perry College of Mathematics, Computing, and Sciences. The student assistant may work independently or as part of a team under the guidance of a faculty and/or staff member.
Required Qualifications

• Must be a current UWG student in good academic standing majoring in programs within the School of Computing, Analytics, and Modeling (Computing, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or Mathematics) or the School of Field Investigations and Experimental Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, or Physics).
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA or higher.
• Must have an maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as being an active and engaged team member.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

• Must be able to sit or stand for periods of time while working at a computer or in a lab or field setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong work ethic.
• Self-starter.
• Able to work with others in a group setting as part of a scientific/technical project team.
