Solaris HealthCare Lake Zephyr is seeking PRN Physical Therapists (PTs) to join our skilled nursing team. We have multiple PRN opportunities available, ideal for clinicians looking for flexible scheduling, including weekend coverage and vacation coverage.

Position Details
  • Status: PRN

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat residents to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Educate residents and families on therapy goals and progress

Requirements
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred (open to strong candidates from other settings)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Reliable availability for PRN, weekend, and vacation coverage

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications:
  • Successfulcompletion of the academic requirements of an educational program in physicaltherapy which has been approved for the educational preparation of physicaltherapists by the appropriate accrediting agency recognized by the Commissionon Recognition of PostsecondaryAccreditation or the United States Department of Education at the time of heror his graduation and have passed, to the satisfaction of the board, theAmerican Registry Examination prior to 1971 or a national examination approvedby the board to determine her or his fitness for practice as a physicaltherapist
  • Mustbe licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a physical therapist inthe state of
  • Prior experience in Physical Therapy, preferred
  • Member of state and national American Physical TherapyAssociation, preferred
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Proficientadministrative and public relations skills
