Zephyr Connects helps growth-oriented businesses in the residential trades find exceptional people who fit both the position and the culture. We're looking for a Senior Business Development Representative who loves the hunt—opening doors, building relationships, and winning new business.

This is NOT an account management role. We're not looking for someone to manage existing accounts or wait for inbound leads. We need a proactive hunter who's equally comfortable cold calling a business owner, attending an industry event, and developing strategic partnerships that generate revenue for years.

What You'll Do

Net-New Business Development

  • Build and manage a targeted prospecting pipeline
  • Proactively engage owners, CEOs, and operations leaders via phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations using Sandler principles
  • Identify business problems behind hiring challenges and qualify opportunities
  • Convert prospects into long-term client relationships

Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with business coaches, CPAs, EOS Implementers, trade associations, and referral partners
  • Generate introductions and referral opportunities
  • Pursue speaking opportunities, webinars, and industry events

Inbound & Account Development

  • Own and qualify incoming leads
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify future hiring needs
  • Ensure every relationship has a clear next step

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of B2B business development or consultative sales experience
  • Demonstrated success hunting net-new business
  • Experience selling to business owners or executives
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
  • CRM experience (GoHighLevel is a plus)

Highly Desirable:

  • Construction, skilled trades, facilities, property management, or staffing industry experience
  • Experience developing strategic referral partnerships
  • Sandler, EOS, or similar methodology experience
