Job Summary:
The Co-Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for managing the Holistic Health business relationships and will serve as the main point of contact for all Co-Manufacturing sites including all technical, operational, commercial and financial aspects of a group of Contract Manufacturers, while also recognizing and driving opportunities for growth through innovation and renovation project ideation/execution. This role requires candidates to possess an entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to work collaboratively with the Commercial and Marketing sides of the business in an ambiguous space. The Co-Manufacturing Manager will also think creatively exploring new product portfolios and processes, discover new manufacturing capability and technology and will work in an accelerated manner that allows the company to continuously win with the consumer. This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance within Bridgewater, New Jersey or within Bohemia or Holbrook, NY (greater Long Island area).

Responsibilities:

• Supply: Accountability for Co-Manufacturer purchased raw materials, packaging materials, site capacity and capability to meet projected demand plans.
• Innovation: Lead Co-Manufacturing relationships to deliver innovative/renovative solutions and focus on scouting Co-Manufacturer opportunities to deliver business profitability and growth.
• Supplier management: Overall accountability for Operational Review and ensures the relevant tools are utilized, appropriate KPIs, measures and mechanisms are in place to manage and continually improve site performance.
• Make or Buy: Ensures the right resources are gathered for Make-or-buy analysis; ensure that all projects outsourced to 3rd parties undergo an annual review with the relevant business, Procurement and Technical teams; make recommendations on optimal Manufacturing solutions between Co-Manufacturers/Packers and internal Factories, for decision by the Technical Manager in consultation with the Category BEM, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance Directors as appropriate.
• Co-Manufacturing Strategy: Develops and ensures Co-manufacturing strategy is aligned to the Business strategy; leads the capability assessment process, including coordination of required assessments and audits and ensures any proposal to outsource supply is properly evaluated as required.
• Contract Management: Accountable to ensure all Contracts are in place and relevant to the Business and Manufacturing strategy.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify TDC opportunities and ensure delivery of annual Operational Excellence targets and proactively scan the market to understand capabilities/ capacities/compliance of potential Contract Manufactures.
• Exit/Exception Management: Align with the business and relevant stakeholders to agree on sites that are to be exited and the associated timelines; supports the Procurement team to ensure contractual obligations in the agreement are followed.
• Financial stability: Ensure that effective financial control is maintained for core Co-manufacturers in line with requirements; provide full, accurate and timely financial information to facilitate effective decision-making regarding raw materials, packaging materials, labor, and overall site performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or in a related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Plant Operations, Purchasing or Sourcing, preferably with experience working with food or dietary supplement products.
• Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.
• Must have excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships) is required.
• Must be analytical and must have highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Must be curious, possess an end-to-end mindset and must be team-oriented.
• Must show courage and able to influence business decisions with integrity.
• Working knowledge of Finance or Operational Costing is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP, or any other relevant ERP systems is highly desired.
• Willing and able to travel up to 25% based on the needs of the team and the business.

The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
