The company works with superstar artists, major and independent record labels, and global media brands. It operates a number of companies including Label Engine, one of the largest independent music distribution platforms in the world, with over 75,000 artists and 5,000 label clients; and Flighthouse, a digital entertainment brand focused on Gen Z, which has more than 300 million followers across social media. Create Music Group is based in Hollywood, CA and has 400 employees worldwide.
Job Summary
Create Music Group is looking for a creative, internet-savvy intern to support the growth of our artists' online presence through fan pages, edit pages, content sourcing, and daily social media activity. This role will work closely with the Marketing team to identify emerging trends, create and curate engaging content, and build authentic fan communities across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of music culture, meme culture, social media trends, and viral content strategies, with a genuine passion for connecting artists with audiences online.
This is an unpaid, part-time internship designed for current students receiving college credit. Interns must be eligible to work in the U.S. and available for 10-23 hours per week over a 3-4 month term.
Responsibilities
  • Create and manage fan pages/edit pages for artists across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, and YouTube Shorts
  • Source trending clips, memes, interviews, livestream moments, and viral-style content related to the artist
  • Edit short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
  • Post daily content on artist social media pages
  • Help brainstorm viral marketing ideas, trends, captions, and rollout concepts
  • Monitor fan engagement and social media trends
  • Assist with growing fan communities organically
  • Repurpose existing content into multiple formats
  • Research pages, creators, and trends within hip-hop/music culture
  • Gathering and staying up to date with influencers who have the best engagement
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and internet culture
  • Knowledge of meme pages, fan pages, and viral social strategies
  • Experience editing short-form content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, etc.)
  • Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student, and receive credit for this internship
