Position:         Assistant Wrestling Coach
Location:        Prince Edward County High School
Reports To:    Head Wresting Coach / Athletic Director/Principal
Employment Type: Seasonal / Stipend


Position Summary:

The Assistant Wrestling Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the wrestling program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with practices and competitions
  • Provide instruction in wrestling techniques
  • Supervise student-athletes
  • Support academic accountability
  • Assist with equipment management
  • Reinforce program expectations
  • Communicate with stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Wrestling experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate
  • Must meet all school & VHSL coaching requirements
