Job description

Armature Works is a premier, historic venue in the heart of Tampa’s Heights District. Combining a dynamic mix of restaurants, event spaces, and community-driven experiences, Armature Works has become the top destination for any and all occasions!

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team in a part time capacity. The Marketing Assistant will collaborate with the Marketing and Events teams to capture, post, and manage social media content and ensure consistent branding across all platforms.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Attend on-site events to capture real-time photo and video content for social media
  • Shoot short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that highlights event energy, vendors, and guest experience
  • Edit and deliver content quickly for same-day or next-day posting
  • Assist with posting across social platforms, including writing captions and selecting media
  • Identify and capture key moments, activations, and high-traffic areas during events
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align on content needs, shot lists, and priorities
  • Maintain a consistent brand look, feel, and voice across all content
  • Organize and manage media files for easy access and future use
  • Stay on top of social media trends and suggest content ideas in real time
  • Engage with guests, vendors, and partners when capturing content to create authentic moments
  • Support light event setup or breakdown as it relates to marketing activations
  • Assist with recap content and highlight reels post-event

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Proficient in video editing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong team plater with the ability to collaborate with staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • Ability to adapt to changing event schedules and requirements quickly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in high-energy, physically demanding environments.
  • Ability to work with varying noise levels.
