General Statement of Duties: Performs supervisory, management, and administrative work in the Public Works Department including the facilities maintenance, fleet maintenance, street maintenance, and storm water divisions; prioritizes, plans, and directs the department's operations and staff; coordinates with City Engineer on projects and various aspects of divisions maintenance; performs related duties as required.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's Degree or comparable certification in field related to infrastructure construction, business administration, engineering, or project management
  2. Five years of professional experience in public sector public works including streets and infrastructure maintenance at a management level
  3. Five years of supervisory experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. American Public Works Association (APWA) Certification
  2. Experience working for a growing city or county
  3. A valid Class A commercial driver's license
