Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your signaling, project management and civil works expertise within one of the most complex and exciting areas of railway signaling delivery. You'll work alongside collaborative, experienced, and international teams in a dynamic, partnerbased project environment.

You'll play a central role in delivering the signalingrelated civil works scope for one of Canada's most transformative public transit projects. Daytoday, you'll work closely with global engineering teams, local construction and design resources, and key delivery partners - including Heavy Civils and Track Works partners - to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution.

You'll provide senior project leadership for signaling civil works activities related to signaling systems, managing design and construction teams, including design interfaces, construction, installation, coordination of multi-disciplinary civil teams and suppliers, and ensuring alignment with contractual commitments and QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance) objectives.

We'll look to you for:

  • Defining, planning, and applying project strategies for signaling civil works to meet contractual commitments and project targets

  • Managing the endtoend delivery of signalingrelated civil works, from design through construction and site execution

  • Leading and managing signaling civil design and construction teams, ensuring alignment between engineering outputs and field execution

  • Coordinating interfaces with Heavy Civils and Track Works partners, ensuring effective sequencing, access planning, and constructability
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks, opportunities, and deviations that may impact project objectives

  • Planning, monitoring, and controlling project scope, schedule, resources, and costs for signaling civil works

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, standards, and processes (Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality)

  • Representing Alstom towards customers, partners, and external stakeholders, as delegated from Project Manager

All about you

We value passion, leadership, and delivery mindset over checking every box. That said, the following experience will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, STEM discipline or Project Management
  • At least 15 years experience, including 7 years in a project leadership role within rail systems, infrastructure, or major construction projects
  • Proven experience managing civil design and construction activities within a multidisciplinary systems delivery environment
  • Experience working in partnered or multicontractor project models, with strong interface management skills
  • Civil works experience in Canada (Ontario), including familiarity with PEO requirements, permitting, and approvals processes
  • Experience working with multinational teams and diverse business cultures
  • Solid understanding of project management processes and tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multisite and multidisciplinary teams effectively
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites within Canada (and occasionally abroad)

Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You'll also:
