As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Warehouse Manager who will play a critical role in supporting field operations and driving efficiency across all departments.
Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including purchasing, inventory control, fleet management, vendor relationships, material logistics, and operational systems. This role serves as the central hub for purchasing and inventory strategy across all departments.
This position has full accountability for ensuring optimal inventory turns, cost control, fleet safety, and operational efficiency while supporting department managers in achieving company performance goals. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for leveraging ServiceTitan to ensure inventory accuracy, purchasing controls, and job costing alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Vendor Management
• Serve as the central point of coordination for all company purchasing
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and pursue rebate/discount opportunities
• Source best pricing and ensure core inventory items remain in stock
• Execute timely returns of excess or obsolete inventory
• Monitor market pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Coordinate purchasing approvals and controls through ServiceTitan
Inventory Control & Warehouse Operations
• Maintain full accountability for all inventory systems and controls
• Monitor and improve inventory turns while maintaining required stocking levels
• Implement and manage loss prevention procedures for high-value materials
• Conduct cycle counts and oversee annual physical inventory
• Maintain organized, clean, and efficient warehouse layout
• Standardize truck stocking levels across departments
• Work with department managers to reduce waste and scrap
• Assist with material job costing in coordination with department managers
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking within ServiceTitan, including:
o Managing price books and material cost updates
o Monitoring inventory adjustments and variances
o Reconciling purchase orders, receipts, and transfers
o Supporting technicians with inventory allocation and material returns
o Running inventory and purchasing reports
Fleet Management & Safety
• Develop and execute a preventative maintenance plan for the company fleet
• Manage GPS and camera systems across all vehicles
• Monitor driver behavior, fuel usage, and potential misuse
• Maintain vehicle inspection logs and damage reports
• Oversee accident documentation and investigations
• Ensure new fleet vehicles are fully equipped (wraps, fuel cards, Sun Pass, GPS, cameras)
• Track and control fuel costs by driver
• Partner with department managers to maintain clean, professional vehicles
• Conduct regular safety inspections and coordinate safety training
Material Logistics & Field Support
• Coordinate emergency material needs with department managers
• Source and pick up materials when vendor delivery is unavailable
• Deliver materials to job sites as needed to protect revenue and project timelines
• Support field teams with last-minute job site supply needs
Leadership & Culture
• Lead by example in ethics, integrity, and accountability
• Support department managers with operational strategy
• Communicate clearly and foster collaboration across teams
• Reinforce company values and operational standards
• Participate in Nexstar training and peer groups; implement best practices
Qualifications
Required
• 5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse or inventory management
• Strong understanding of inventory systems and purchasing controls
• Experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or related home service industry
• Experience managing P&L impact through inventory and cost controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• ServiceTitan Experience (Required/Strongly Preferred)
• Experience managing inventory modules within ServiceTitan
• Purchase order creation and reconciliation
• Pricebook management and material cost updates
• Inventory transfer and adjustment controls
• Reporting and analytics for inventory performance
• Understanding of job costing and technician material allocation
