What You'll Do
As an Electrical Assembly Production Supervisor, you'll lead daily electrical assembly operations during your assigned shift, ensuring production schedules are executed safely, efficiently, and on time. You'll coordinate manpower, workflow sequencing, material readiness, tooling requirements, and operational priorities while supporting workforce development and maintaining accountability for quality and safety standards.


In this role, you will:

  • Execute daily electrical assembly schedules and coordinate workflow priorities to support customer delivery commitments
  • Coordinate labor assignments, material staging, tooling readiness, and production support requirements
  • Directly supervise electrical assemblers and working leads during assigned shifts
  • Manage attendance, productivity, work assignments, and workforce accountability
  • Enforce electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, PPE standards, and housekeeping expectations
  • Ensure compliance with electrical schematics, assembly instructions, wiring standards, and inspection requirements
  • Monitor throughput and adjust resources to maintain labor efficiency and schedule adherence
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational constraints
  • Support onboarding, training progression, and technical skills development activities
  • Monitor workmanship standards and support containment of non-conforming product conditions
  • Support corrective action implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate disciplinary actions and performance improvement activities with department leadership and Human Resources
  • Escalate production risks, equipment downtime, material shortages, and quality concerns impacting production schedules
  • Support production recovery efforts during operational disruptions
  • Coordinate shift pass-down communication and operational reporting activities
  • Participate in workflow optimization and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
  • Assist with implementation of new assembly methods, tooling, and process improvements

Requirements

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader with strong electrical assembly knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to drive workforce performance in a production environment.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing, electrical assembly, or production leadership experience
  • Experience supervising production personnel in industrial manufacturing environments
  • Experience coordinating production schedules, labor resources, and operational priorities
  • Knowledge of electrical assembly operations, industrial wiring practices, and manufacturing workflow systems
  • Strong leadership and workforce management skills
  • Effective communication, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and operational decision-making skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple production activities simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Operations, or related field
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or electrical assembly environments
  • Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

This is a full-time, exempt position. Schedule is shift-dependent and may require flexibility to support production demands, operational priorities, and customer commitments.
