Job Title: Project Manager – Workforce Management (WFM)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Workforce Management (WFM) to lead and deliver Workforce Management initiatives for a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, workforce management solutions, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team leadership. This role requires excellent communication, planning, and execution skills to ensure successful project delivery while meeting business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Workforce Management (WFM) projects from initiation through implementation and post-production support.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and leadership to define project scope and objectives.
  • Manage multiple workstreams while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, steering committee presentations, and executive reporting.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Oversee requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and user adoption activities.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and organizational PMO methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Workforce Management, HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT teams to optimize business processes.
  • Manage change requests, project documentation, and lessons learned.
  • Support vendor management and coordinate implementation activities for WFM solutions.
  • Monitor project KPIs and provide regular progress reports to senior leadership.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience with enterprise-level implementations.
  • Hands-on experience delivering Workforce Management (WFM) projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in hybrid or onsite environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience implementing WFM platforms such as UKG Pro WFM (Kronos), WorkForce Software, Oracle WFM, ADP Workforce Manager, or NICE/IEX.
  • Experience with HRIS, Payroll, and Time & Attendance integrations.
  • Knowledge of workforce scheduling, forecasting, labor compliance, and reporting.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, healthcare, retail, or enterprise environments.
