Job description

Maryland Environmental Service is seeking a Workday Specialist/Principal/Architect within the Information Technology Department located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position leads, plans, and supports the implementation and optimization of Workday solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices. This role requires deep expertise in Workday configuration, architecture, and business process design across multiple modules.
Additional responsibilities include leading Workday implementation and maintenance across multiple modules including Security, Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial, Spend (Procurement), Talent, Payroll and Workforce Management.

Minimum Qualification: 

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday implementation and architecture, with a focus on HCM, Finance, Security, and Procurement modules.

Extensive experience with Workday configuration, business process design, and system architecture.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion.

Workday certification(s) in HCM, Finance, Security, and/or Procurement is highly desirable
