Job description

Large, global client has full-time need for a strong Workday HCM Technical Lead, with 7+ yrs of experience of hands-on Workday HCM technical skills, and at least 2 years of leadership experience. Very healthy, stable, and growing company with excellent corporate culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop Workday integrations using Cloud Connects, Document Transformations, Enterprise Interface Builders, and Workday Studio for various functional areas including HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting
  • Translate business process requirements into a detailed technical specification to meet business goals.
  • Responsible for architectural documentation and reviewing the development of solutions specified in technical design.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept development, demos, and post-deployment support of cross-team integration efforts
  • Perform impact analysis, enhancements, change request, and product upgrades
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess document requirements, review design, and define functional specifications
  • Provide production support for incident management and integration monitoring as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in information technology, software development, engineering, or relevant fields.
  • 5+ years experience in integration development in Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting. Workday implementation experience is preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a technical lead position
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues through Workday reporting, security and business process configuration
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday EIB, Studio, Document Transformation, RaaS and Cloud Connect
  • Testing the integrations – Formulating scenarios that need to be tested, documenting them as well as working with the business and vendors on testing the integrations
  • Knowledge with Web Services, SOAP, XML, XSLT, REST, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.
