ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Workday Financials Consultant to provide additional delivery capacity on a contract basis within a lean, high-performing Finance Solution Delivery team. You will partner with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement stakeholders to support production operations, ongoing enhancements, and strategic initiatives across multiple Workday Financials domains. The role requires deep functional expertise, the ability to operate independently, and the versatility to step into priority areas as business needs shift.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide hands-on configuration, support, and optimization across multiple Workday Financials domains;
- Act as a flexible resource, stepping into priority areas based on evolving business needs;
- Support production issues, troubleshoot defects, and deliver timely resolutions;
- Design and implement scalable, sustainable solutions aligned with long-term platform health;
- Partner with functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system solutions;
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements, process improvements, and operational optimizations;
- Support both day-to-day production support activities and project-based initiatives;
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement teams to ensure system effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.
MUST HAVES
- You must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (e.g., Green card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD), as we are unable to sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship at this time;
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials;
- Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes within Workday;
- Experience supporting both production support and project-based work;
- Proven expertise across multiple Workday Financials domains, including Financial Accounting, Expenses, Business Assets, and Banking & Settlement;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with Workday Accounting Center and Prism;
- Familiarity with Workday integrations and reporting;
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives;
- Exposure to Workday Orchestrations or automation frameworks;
- Experience working within lean teams with broad domain ownership;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders;
- Experience with VNDLY.
