To thrive as a Work From Home Automotive Service Advisor, you need thorough knowledge of automotive systems, strong customer service abilities, and experience in service advising or a similar role. Familiarity with dealership management software (DMS), repair order systems, and relevant certifications such as ASE Service Consultant can be important. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build trust remotely set outstanding advisors apart. These qualifications ensure you can accurately diagnose customer needs, coordinate with service teams, and deliver a positive, efficient service experience from a remote setting.
As a Work From Home Automotive Service Advisor, your daily responsibilities typically include answering customer inquiries about automotive issues, scheduling service appointments, generating and reviewing repair orders, and providing estimates for recommended services. You will act as a liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring all information is clearly communicated and customer questions are addressed promptly.
