Job description

We’re not looking for just any manager. We’re looking for a driver of people, performance, and culture.

Bay Ridge Honda, a high-volume dealership in the heart of Brooklyn, is seeking a proven Sales Manager with Honda experience to help lead, mentor, and drive our sales team to the next level. This isn’t a desk jockey role—it’s a high-impact, front-line leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on accountability, process, and winning the right way.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Minimum 3 years of Sales Management experience at a Honda dealership.
  • Mastery of the sales desk, deal structuring, trade appraisals, and F&I turnover.
  • Experience managing new, used, and certified Honda inventory in a competitive metro market.
  • Ability to coach, train, and hold salespeople accountable to daily KPIs.
  • High CSI standards and a commitment to delivering a top-tier customer experience.
  • Working knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds or similar CRM/DMS systems.
  • Clear communication, a sharp eye for process improvement, and a get-it-done attitude.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead the sales team in hitting volume, gross, and product penetration goals.
  • Desk deals with precision and transparency.
  • Manage and optimize inventory flow, vehicle presentation, and merchandising.
  • Conduct daily one-on-ones and team huddles focused on performance and development.
  • Partner with BDC, F&I, and Service to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Monitor lead response, appointment show rates, and follow-up processes.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, integrity, and hospitality.
Why Bay Ridge Honda?
  • Top-performing Brooklyn dealership with a deep pipeline of new and used car traffic.
  • Strong leadership team committed to continuous improvement and internal promotion.
  • Family-owned store that values teamwork, transparency, and high standards.
  • Opportunity to influence both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary + performance-driven bonus structure.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Union benefits available (where applicable).
Ready to lead a team that wins the right way?
Submit your resume and a short cover letter explaining your Honda sales leadership experience.
Note: Experience with Toyota, Mazda, or other volume import brands** will be considered, but Honda experience is strongly preferred.

About Bay Ridge Honda:

We're proud to be one of the top-performing Honda dealerships in the country, but more importantly, we're built like a family, not a corporation. We offer tremendous potential for growth and a workplace where people want to stay and succeed together.
