NowThis is redefining media for a new generation, leading the charge as a digital-first brand that resonates with over 98 million people globally each month. NowThis…is GenZTV. We’re transforming scrolling to tuning in, by reinventing destination viewing through bingeable, social-first content that meets our audiences on the platforms where they live.


The Role

This is not a news role, this is an entertainment role. We’re seeking a digital video Producer, Current Series, who’s well versed in social media to take the reins on our social-first original shows. They’ll be managing both the creative direction and executional workflow of shows to drive follower growth, engagement, and cultural relevance across NowThis social platforms. You’ll be the lead on short-form series, responsible for everything from concept refinement and scripting to producing through pre-production to post. You’ll help shape ideas in development, but your focus will be owning what’s already working and scaling it to work better


What You’ll Do

  • Lead of recurring short-form formats across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Snapchat
  • Own all logistics and planning: shoot coordination, talent, post-production workflows, calendars, and delivery schedules
  • Drive creative quality across scripting, pre-production, shooting, and post-production, ensuring every episode hits
  • Collaborate with editors and social media managers to ensure each episode is optimized for platform and audience
  • Monitor performance — followers, views, retention — and make data-informed decisions to scale reach and impact
  • Work closely with the Development team to refine and pilot new ideas and transition pilots into current series
  • Stay on top of content trends, creator formats, and social storytelling techniques
  • Participate in talent and casting research and outreach
  • Other duties as assigned

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years producing short-form, social-first video
  • Track record of owning series end-to-end, from pre-production to post
  • Strong storytelling and scripting skills
  • Platform-native expertise: TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
  • Project management and scheduling chops
  • Highly collaborative and organized, with a get-it-done attitude
  • Passion for culture, comedy, and digital storytelling


Nice-to-Haves

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or similar tools
  • Ability to film with Sony cameras and handle on-set audio with Rode or equivalent gear
  • Experience with branded content or creator collaborations
  • On set expertise with managing celebrity talent

Compensation & Benefits: The weekly salary for this position ranges from $1,500 to $1,800. An employee's position within this range will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
