We are seeking a customer-focused and highly organized Toyota Service Advisor to join our service team. As the primary liaison between customers and the service department, the Service Advisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while coordinating vehicle maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong automotive knowledge, and a commitment to providing honest recommendations and outstanding customer service.


Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests.
  • Prepare repair orders with detailed descriptions of customer concerns and requested services.
  • Recommend manufacturer-recommended maintenance and additional services based on vehicle inspections.
  • Communicate repair estimates, timelines, and service recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Obtain customer authorization before performing additional repairs or services.
  • Coordinate workflow with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Monitor repair progress and proactively communicate updates to customers.
  • Review completed repairs with customers and explain services performed.
  • Ensure all repair orders are accurate, complete, and properly documented for warranty and billing purposes.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage daily service traffic.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding vehicle status and estimated completion times.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Meet or exceed dealership customer satisfaction, sales, and productivity goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of Toyota maintenance schedules, warranty policies, recalls, and service campaigns.
  • Follow all dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and safety procedures.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in automotive customer service preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and computer applications.
  • Ability  to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to enter and exit customer vehicles and perform visual inspections.
