Experienced Service Advisor - Fred Haas Toyota World
Fred Haas Toyota World is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Experienced Service Advisor to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers by effectively communicating their vehicle needs, coordinating repairs, and ensuring a seamless service experience.
Job Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their vehicle service needs.
  • Advise customers on recommended maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition.
  • Prepare detailed repair orders, clearly documenting customer concerns and technician findings.
  • Communicate repair progress and estimated completion times, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and explain repair options to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Coordinate with service technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Toyota service procedures, warranties, and recalls.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, promoting repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure a positive service experience.
  • Meet or exceed service department sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
  • Automotive dealership service advisor experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and service sales.
  • Experience working with Toyota vehicles is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume service department.
  • Proficiency with DMS and service scheduling software (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Xtime, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive or business training is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of service advisor experience in a dealership setting.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
  • The employee frequently walks, uses hands to handle or feel, reaches with hands and arms, and communicates with customers and team members.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
